Further growth in domestic travel for 2015 compared to 2014

Statistics just released by Fáilte Ireland has just revealed how 3.8 million vacations in Ireland were taken in 2015, representing an increase of 6% on domestic holiday trip statistics from 2014.

Boost in visitor numbers to Ireland

According to the Central Statistics Office (CSO) there is an increase in 16.6 percent in the overall number of foreign visitors taking vacations in Ireland between January and March compared to the same period in 2015.

8 million visitors to Ireland expected in 2016
