It’s almost that time again. As Ireland’s largest film festival The Galway Film Fleadh, is coming soon. The six day event which is now in it’s 24th year is held every July. Films from every genre will take centre stage at the event which boasts the best directors and actors from around the world. The festival has had it’s fair share of special guests over the years including Anjelica Huston, Jeremy Irons, Oliver Reed, Aidan Quinn, Martin Sheen, Matt Dillion and Kathy Bates.
In addition to the showing of films there will be interviews, workshops and other film related events for revelers of all ages to enjoy. The aim of the festival is to “bring together audiences and filmmakers within an intimate environment, and share a common experience – the wonder of cinema.”
