West Cork’s Finest Foods Hit UK Supermarkets

Two of West Cork’s finest fares will soon be appearing on the shelves of UK Supermarkets nationwide!

Known for its traditional values, the Clonakilty Black Pudding recipe remains the same as it was back in the 1800’s, when the tradition of making black pudding within small farmhouses in rural Ireland that was then sold on to local butchers in market towns was common practice. A popular choice here in Ireland, the famous Clonakilty Black Pudding will now be popping up in the chiller cabinets of the 340 Tesco stores throughout the UK.

Also heading to the UK, and again West Cork produce, the Glenilen Farm brand, which was established in 1997 on the farm with the same name and that uses milk sourced from Glenilen and neighbouring farms in their renowned Yoghurt pots as well as the best quality ingredients shall launch throughout all Waitrose stores nationwide.

Having previously been available overseas in independent stores and luxury food markets, this is the first time that both of these locally farmed products, using locally sourced ingredients to create that exceptional taste will be easily accessible in supermarket stores across the UK.
