The Top 3 Reasons to Visit Ireland

3. The Castles

From restored masterpieces to untouched gems, Ireland has plenty to offer when it comes to castles. They are plenty of castles scattered around the country but the most famous would be Blarney Castle in Blarney, County Cork (where you can kiss the Blarney Stone), Ross Castle in Killarney, County Kerry and St. John’s Castle in County Limerick.

2. The Festivals

We won’t go into too much detail on this one because we cover this area so heavily in other posts. Ireland has countless well-known festivals covering music, sport, art, film and literature.

1. The Scenery

Ireland is known all over the world for it’s beautiful scenery. The Ring of Kerry and the Burren, County Clare are arguably the most famous scenic locations. Many of the photos you’ll find on postcards of Ireland will have been taken at these two places.

  1. Yes I agree with you Ireland really is a beautiful country to visit and in this economic downturn we really should be telling the rest of the world to come and visit here for the scenery the welcoming people and the fun that this country has to offer. I have a website with lots of information on things to do, sport, shopping etc. Go to http://www.snippetsofireland.com. The more coverage Ireland gets the better for everyone.
