The West Cork Chamber Music Festival will take place this year from 28th June – 6th July within the charming waterfront town of Bantry.
Showcasing the very best classical musicians from all over Europe and the rest of the world, this music festival within one of the top spots for Ireland Vacations, the picturesque area of West Cork has earned a reputation as one of the biggest classical music events in Ireland.
This year’s festival over a hundred musicians are expected to be playing over one hundred works from more than fifty composers and will be offering a diverse range of music that originates from Romania and Poland, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Estonia and Britain as well as music from the United States, Australia, Turkey and Russia.
With a packed programme of events planned and many top names from the world of music on the bill, the festival that will last for nine days is a truly global classical music event that will comprise of a number of intimate concerts within enchanting venues such as Bantry House and St Brendan’s Church
