An Irish soccer fan living in Australia took matters into his own hands as he became increasingly frustrated that he wouldn’t be able to watch the Ireland soccer team play their next big World Cup qualifier on Australian TV.
He took it upon himself to send in a bid which was eventually accepted by the German company who owned them. Many have dubbed the mega fan as a ‘hero’ for ensuring Irish fans living in Australia don’t miss the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Sweden.
