For something a little different while on vacation in Ireland, why not experience an alternative perspective of the some of the more pressing economic issues affecting Irish society today amid the welcoming surroundings of Kilkenny City between the 6th and 9th November 2014.
Some of the leading economists, financial analysts and media commentators from across the globe join up with some of the wittiest and sharpest local stand-up comedians by making the trip to Ireland for the annual Kilkenomics Economics Festival.
The festival has often been referred to as “Davos with jokes” with stand up comedians scrutinising the highly qualified economists and to talk through crucial issues such as the prospects for the Irish economy in 2015, what happens after the Troika leaves and what’s happening with the global economy. Now partnered with the Financial Times.
Festival tickets and club passes are available from the Festival Box Office which opens from 10 a.m. on Monday, 28th October, at 14 John Street in Kilkenny.
