Not long now till the Cork Midsummer Festival, an annual event that takes place in Cork City from 21st – 30th June and which this year to coincide with the year of the Irish Gathering, shall celebrate the best new theatre, dance and music from around the world as well as its normal special mix of unique events that take place in the most unexpected of places!
Captivating and entertaining audiences of all ages and a must for locals and tourists on vacation in Ireland, the Cork Midsummer Festival brings the world to Cork and shows Cork to the world through a whole host of world-class performances, special events and entertainment!
This year’s packed programme of events that will start in just over 10 days includes on the opening day of the festival Mick Flannery live at City Hall and Maria De Buenos Aires at Cork opera House on the 21st June, and on the closing day of the festival a 100% Cork at Cork Opera House on the 30th June, plus a whole host of other acts throughout.
