On the 26th-28th April 2013, the Dublin Bay Prawn Festival will be taking place in and around the picturesque fishing village of Howth, nestled on the rugged peninsula of the north side of Dublin Bay.
A hidden treasure of Ireland, and the location of Dublin Bay’s Prawn Festival, Howth Harbour over the last weekend in April will be jam-packed with festival goers, fabulous foods and an exciting line up of events for this year’s exciting festival.
As well as food village with stalls showcasing the very best quality seafood from the area and other fresh local sourced foods, there will be other food related events such as cookery demonstrations, wine-tasting, plenty of food sampling and tasting and prawn shelling competitions!
Aside from the food there shall be plenty of street entertainment, walks, talks, food trails and seaside fun in the area of Howth Harbour, and as the sun sets, all visitors to the festival, whether a local or here s part of an Ireland vacation can enjoy the evening entertainment, which includes; Mystery Dine Around, Special Festival Menus in numerous local restaurants, live music in the pubs and a spectacular fireworks display on the harbour.
