Yet another worldwide music megastar will perform live in Ireland next year, as it was announced that Eminem, who has collaborated with a range of musical superstars, will play at Slane Castle on 17th August.
The rapper, who was meant to play at the historic venue back in 2005 but cancelled at the last minute, will finally get the chance to perform at this prestigious venue in front of an expected crowd of 80,000.
Joining a string of other international artists choosing to play gigs in Ireland next year, such as Bon Jovi, who too performs live at Slane Castle and Bruce Springsteen who will play Limerick, Belfast and Cork, the year of the Irish Gathering 2013 is warming up to be bigger than ever for live music.
Tickets for Eminem at Slane Castle go on sale Wednesday 19th December and are reported to be priced €79.50
