In a telling interview, Irish veteran football player Roy Keane shared his thoughts on Ireland’s Euro 2012 chances. Keane believes it will be very difficult for Ireland to come out of their extremely tough group but he noted that Ireland were ‘not bad at set-pieces’ which means ‘that may be their only hope.’
The interview was also full of humor as he joked: The balls have arrived, and the kits arrived, so they are bound to win.” The reference of course to the infamous 2002 World Cup fiasco of which he was the center of! He warned the interviewer that he had a train to catch in 5 hours and wouldn’t have enough time to discuss the events of 2002.
