In the latest Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Regional survey, which is conducted globally on behalf of the Airports Council International (ACI) has seen Cork Airport positioned first for overall customer satisfaction.
The global survey of passengers was undertaken this summer and measured customer satisfaction over 8 categories within 61 regional airports throughout the world. Scoring highest of all the airports, Cork was ranked at the worlds’ best regional airport for customer service by both business travellers and leisure tourists on Ireland Vacations.
Cork Airport excelled in the ASQ regional survey with the highest levels of passenger satisfaction across all of its peer airports in the areas that were surveyed – these being: courtesy and helpfulness of airport staff, cleanliness, security, ease of access and availability of information.
Over the past six months, Cork Airport has introduced a number of new schemes, such as customer feedback terminals at various locations in the airport, a new children’s play area and the last call airside bar, all of which, along with many others, have been welcomed by passengers and helped to assist the airport to reach and maintain its unrivalled customer offering.
