The United States will be making the trip to Ireland later this year to take on the Republic of Ireland in an international friendly soccer match in Dublin on the 18th November. The match is due to take place at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin which can hold just over 50,000 spectators.
Ranked 13th in the world, the United States team are likely to include World Cup stars such as Tim Howard, Brad Guzan, and Geoff Cameron, as well as Clint Dempsey and Michael Bradley, all of whom ply their trade in the English Premier League.
This on’t be the first meeting between the two sides as they have faced each other on eight previous occasions, the last of which was back in 2002, when the Republic of Ireland triumphed by 2 goals to 1 in Dublin. The match could allow those Americans who are on vacation in Ireland to go along and cheer on the stars and stripes!
