The well known and loved Irish interior architect David Collins tragically lost his battle with cancer recently. The architect and interior designer studied in Dublin, Ireland before moving to London where he set up the successful David Collins Studio.
It was here that he began designing for some of the world’s most famous restaurants and buildings, including Claridge’s, The Connaught’s bar, Harrods and Nobu. He was often asked by well known clientele including Jimmy Choo, Alexander McQueen and Bergdorf Goodman to help bring their concepts to life.
Many turned up to the funeral in Dublin to pay homage to Mr. Collins who was a popular and well loved individual. This included a vast array of celebrity mourners – one of which was Madonna, who brought a beautiful boutique of flowers to the ceremony.
