Global pop star phenomenon’s One Direction arrives in Ireland today ahead of their 8 tour dates in Dublin’s O2 and Belfast’s Odyssey.
The band that was formed on the popular UK show the X Factor is known all over the world, and attracts a huge following wherever they go, so tour management are expecting throngs of fans to be outside both their favoured hotel to stay in whilst in the city and the O2 venue.
Its thought that band member Niall Horan from Mullingar, flew in yesterday ahead of the other One Direction boys so he could spend time with family and friends before the string of gigs that will see the band perform at the O2 tonight and tomorrow, before they relocate to Belfast to play at the Odyssey on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday night, before returning back to Dublin and the O2 to perform on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th March.
1D who are in Ireland as part of their UK & Ireland Arena Tour, have been imposed a no partying ban by management until after their shows, so it would seem that the group with a reputation of being party boys will be on their best behaviour whilst here in Ireland.
Maybe next time the boys can really let their hair down, maybe they’ll come back in the summer to take a well deserved break or vacation in Ireland and show their support for Zane’s Little Mix girlfriend Perrie, whose band announced yesterday that they will perform at live in the Marquee in Cork on the14th June.
