Ireland march on to Twickenham after victory over Wales

Ireland remain unbeaten in the 2014 Six Nations Championship following a hugely impressive 26-3 victory over the reigning champions Wales at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday. New Aer Lingus transatlantic service between Boston & Shannon launched

There was good news for those seeking to plan a trip to Ireland over the coming months as Ireland’s national air carrier, Aer Lingus, launched a new Boeing 757 transatlantic service between Shannon airport and Boston’s Logan airport. The launch of the Shannon to Boston service signifies the commencement of a major expansion for the airline’s transatlantic offering including flights to San Francisco and Toronto, all this in addition to their current scheduled flights.   Continue reading

Ireland look to make an impact at the Winter Olympics in Sochi

Ireland among second seeds for UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying draw

It was announced by UEFA this week that the Republic of Ireland will be ranked among the Second Seeded teams heading into the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 2016. The qualifying draw for the tournament will take place in Nice on the 23rd February, 2014.

As a result of being included among the second seeded nations means that Republic of Ireland go into the pot knowing that they will avoid all the other second seeded countries such as Croatia, Ukraine, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Belgium, Czech Republic, and Hungary.  Continue reading
