Heartache for the Irish as the All Blacks snatch victory from the jaws of defeat

It was heartbreak and amazement as Ireland oh so narrowly missed out on a famous victory over the All Blacks in their match yesterday at Aviva Stadium. An injury time last minute conversion from New Zealand though cruelly denied Ireland both a historic and magnificent victory with the Irish side losing 24-22 at the final whistle. Ireland all set to face the mighty All Blacks

The Irish rugby team have been preparing extra hard to face the mighty All Blacks at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Sunday in the final match of the Autumn International series.  Following their disappointing performance against Australia on Saturday, there has been a real sense that the squad are determined to put things right. Christmas Markets in Ireland 2013

There are a host of Christmas markets taking place this year in Ireland. Taking inspiration from the markets in Prague and Munich, the Lodge at Doonberg, Co. Clare will be hosting their annual Christmas market which is expected to be even bigger than last year.

The courtyard at Doonbeg will be transformed into an old world town square. Like last year, the square will be packed with stalls full of Christmas gifts, crafts and the smell of roasting gingerbread will tempt you to indulge in one of the many festive treats on offer. Christmas in Ireland – Limerick Christmas Racing Festival 2013

Looking for something to do between Christmas and New Years? From the 26th of December to the 29th, Limerick race course will play host to an impressive line up of racing events. Feature races include the Greenmount Novice Chase which was won by Sir Des Champs last year, who also won at Cheltenham.
