A new 26km route offering breathtaking views of the popular tourist Ireland Vacation attraction – the Ring of Kerry is to be developed.
The cycle and walk way will be built along the abandoned railway line between Glenbeigh and Renard near Cahersiveen in County Kerry, running parallel to (but over) the Ring of Kerry roadway.
A development that is expected to cost the Department of Transport €50,000 to design, plan and build will provide the most magnificent of views when completed and is sure to prove to be a big hit with all locals and tourists to the area.
