Taking place from the 15th – 28th July, is Ireland’s largest international arts festival – the Galway Arts Festival. Showcasing a diverse selection of international artists alongside the best of Irish talent, during the festival guests and visitors on Ireland vacations will be treated to a packed programme of events that includes theatres, music, comedy, arts, dance and street entertainment.
Galway, situated in the West of Ireland is a vibrant and unique city centre, and the Galway Arts Festival has contributed to putting Galway on the map as a key cultural centre for the arts and a cultural tourism destination!
Established in 1978 the festival has grown in popularity and the performances at last year’s festival were attended by over 163,000.
