Over 100 rugby teams from all over the world are expected to congregate in University College Dublin on Saturday 17th August to compete in festival of rugby organised by the IRFU and Lenister Rugby.
Specially created for the year of the Irish Gathering 2013, over 1,200 players and 100 teams, which shall include international participants from all over the world and Ireland will partake in Tag, Touch and Sevens Rugby competitions at the world class facilities at UCD.
It’s hoped that the GUINNESS Mid-Strength Irish Rugby Gathering Festival will create a summer carnival atmosphere and deliver a great mix of rugby as well as off pitch entertainment for the hoards of expected spectators, supporters and players attending locally or as a visitor on Ireland Vacations.
With the nation ready and raring to support the Lions who embark upon their campaign down under on Saturday 1st June, it’s definitely a time to be inspired and sign up and register your team for the Tag, Touch and Sevens events taking place at the Irish Rugby Gathering Festival this August.
