June Bank Holiday Weekend Music Festival attracts big names

Ireland’s Bank Holiday Weekend at the start of June always has an array of activities for all up and down the country. However one popular music event happening in the South East of Ireland and that is attracting big names from the music industry is Strawberry Fest 2012, which is a new take on one of Irelands longest established town festivals and will for the weekend of 1st -3rd June take over the town of Enniscorthy.

On the bill and already announced are Maverick Sabre, The Original Rudeboys and Mikill Payne, Bressie, The Saw Doctors, The Complete Stone Roses, Status Quo, Key West, Bipolar Empire, Seven Summits, Swords, The Hot Sprockets and many more are being announced daily.

As well as music, there will be plenty of family events, fringe events and pub events happening. There is camping available over the weekend for those attending the festival, including family friendly site, a site for campervans as well as the main camp site; however those not looking to rough or travelling from overseas and combining the music festival with their vacation, there is the option of local accommodation too!
