Many things to entertain this May

As we approach the start of spring and summer there are lots of events happening around the country for both locals and visitors on vacation in Ireland.

Focusing on the forthcoming May Bank Holiday weekend, which this year is the weekend of the 4th-7th May; Ireland has festivals happening up and down the country and include, to name but a few;

The Limerick Riverfest, which takes place in Limerick City, has something for everyone with fashion shows, live music, street performances, headline bands in the Big Top and art workshops. As well as the Great Limerick international BBQ, event organisers have coincided The Great Limerick Run with Riverfest.

Féile na Bealtaine Arts Festival, in Dingle, Kerry, which is packed with events such as music from Irish and international acts, literature, politics, talks, art exhibitions, drama, street theatre, children’s events, film, photography, archaeology and more.

In County Louth this same weekend, it’s the Drogheda Arts Festival, In Kilkenny it’s the Rhythm and Roots Festival music festival, in county Cork, it’s the Ballydehob Jazz festival, in Waterford the Waterford International music festival
