The Boss – Bruce Springsteen announced that he will play three gigs in Ireland over the summer of next year.
As part of his “The Wrecking Ball” Tour, Springsteen will perform in Thomond Park in Limerick on 16th July, Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on 18th July and King’s Hall Area in Belfast on 29th July and tickets for all three venues go on sale on Thursday 6th December at 9am.
With the Irish Gathering taking place throughout next year, Ireland is fast becoming the place to perform for top artists, with Bon Jovi announcing last month that he would play Slane Castle next year!
Interestingly though both Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen have chosen not to perform in the capital, despite both playing sell out gigs in Dublin in recent years! Maybe like the rest of us, they are using the year of the Irish Gathering 2013 to explore other areas of the Ireland whilst here!
