Taking place from the 9th – 14th July 2013, is the Galway Film Fleadh. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the full programme of events that will include screenings, talks and workshops will be launched later this month.
Promising to be bigger and better, the 25th Galway Film Fleadh will retrace its history over the past years and whilst the programme of events may not yet have been announced, it has been confirmed by festival organisers that Hollywood star and well known Irish actress Saoirse Ronan has been confirmed at the guest of honour!
Best known for her Oscar nominated performance in “Atonement”, her portrayal of a young assassin in “Hanna” and most recently for her role in the box office hit “The Host”, written by “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer, Saoirse will be the subject of this year’s Public Interview in Galway Town Hall Theatre on July 14th
