Bon Jovi announced his forthcoming gig at Slane Castle in style yesterday as he flew over the surrounding area and the castle in a helicopter!
The singer and his band will headline a concert at Slane Castle in County Meath on 15th June 2013, and as he posed with Slane Castle owner Lord Henry Mountcharles yesterday, Bon Jovi remarked how he felt that there was something about Ireland that is more special to him than anywhere else.
Bon Jovi who took photographs on his phone whilst flying over Slane Castle is no stranger to touring and gigging in Ireland and has performed concerts in Croke Park in 2006, Punchestown in 2008 and played two gigs at the RDS last year, however this will be his first time performing at Slane Castle, which is a completely different type of venue and one that has a reputation amongst artists as a place to live up to.
There is no better year for Bon Jovi to be performing than during the year of Irish Gathering 2013, so if you have not yet planned your Ireland vacation for next year yet to join in the festivities, why not coincide it with this highly anticipated Bon Jovi concert at Slane, tickets for which go on sale at 8am on Thursday 8th November.
