Christmas Markets in Ireland 2013

There are a host of Christmas markets taking place this year in Ireland. Taking inspiration from the markets in Prague and Munich, the Lodge at Doonberg, Co. Clare will be hosting their annual Christmas market which is expected to be even bigger than last year.

The courtyard at Doonbeg will be transformed into an old world town square. Like last year, the square will be packed with stalls full of Christmas gifts, crafts and the smell of roasting gingerbread will tempt you to indulge in one of the many festive treats on offer. The market also doubles up as a wonderland for kids with Santa’s station which understandably is always a popular choice.

Admission is free with the market open from 11am to 6pm.

When: 29th of November to December 1st 2013
Where: The Lodge at Doonbeg’s Co. Clare
