Connemara offers something different this Christmas

Christmas is almost upon is but that’s no excuse for staying indoors with lots happening across the country over the festive season and into the New Year. In the far west of Ireland they will be celebrate the Christmas spirit in a very unique way at the Connemara Four Seasons Walking Festival.  

If you plan on enjoying an Christmas Ireland vacation then this Festival will allow you to explore Connemara with guides Michael Gibbons & Gerry McCluskey providing a unique insight into the rich cultural, archaeological and historic heritage of this most beautiful and wild part of the country.

The walks are suitable for beginners right through to an advanced level; all that is needed are a good pair of walking boots!

With events held across all four seasons, participants get the opportunity to see the magnificent rugged Connemara highlands & islands in all their glory. Each event consists of 2 days walking, with routes carefully selected by the guides suiting the particular season, ensuring that you get to see the most spectacular sights.

The event is supported by several local hotels who will provide the participants with a warm Connemara welcome back where you can enjoy great food, entertainment and a great night’s sleep, making sure you are fighting fit for the next day’s walking!
