The Dublin Book Festival

If you are currently taking a vacation in Ireland and visiting Ireland’s capital city Dublin, the much awaited Dublin Book Festival kicked off yesterday and is set to run until the 13th November. Whether you are an author , a publisher or a member of the public, there really is something for everyone at this year’s festival.

Celebrating its tenth year in existence, this year’s lineup promises not to disappoint with a range of interesting events for all ages to enjoy. An event for the whole family the festival features food, music, comedy, film, history and much more.

With just over 100 amazing authors and publishers expected to attend, this is definitely one festival you won’t want to miss this weekend.

The Dublin Book festival is the perfect family day out for everyone to enjoy. The Winter garden is open this year from 12.00pm – 5.00pm, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th November in the Smock Alley Theatre.  This is the perfect place for you and your family to escape from the cold and snuggle up on the bean bags with a book and hot chocolate.

Whether you are a writing enthusiast, if you would like to browse the Dublin Book Festival bookshop or just get involved in the fantastic storytelling sessions and workshops,  this year’s winter garden has it all.
