Cork International Choral Festival

The Cork International Choral Festival was founded in 1954 and has been held annually over the five days preceding the first Monday in May ever since. It is a celebration of choral music in its many forms as every year Cork welcomes choirs from across the world to assembly for a selection of Gala concerts, Schools Concerts, National and International Competitions, and world-class performances.

One of the highlights of the festival involves the amateur international choirs competing against one another for the Fleischmann International Trophy.
