Much-Fun-to-be-had at the Run-a-muck Challenge!

Taking place in just under two weeks time on Saturday 9th March at 11am in the grounds of Clonkeeran House, near Johnstown Bridge in County Kildare, one of Ireland’s most popular off-road fun and run challenges, Run-a-Muck will take place.

A cross country event over a wet and mucky course, with various manmade and natural obstacles like bale jumps, net scrambles, super slides, Tarzan swings, bridges, ditches, streams, tyres and tunnels, this challenging but fun course will leave both competitors and spectators smiling!

Ideal for joggers and runners of all abilities – there is two options available, the Muckers Course; a one lap, 5km run, or the Serious Muckers Course; a two lap, 10km run. All participants must do is decide whether to take on one or two laps of the course, to take on the muckers challenge as a solo contender or to do it as a team of no less than three people!

Created to put your mental and physical strengths to the test – all obstacles on the course are achievable, however if joggers encounter any difficulties then there are alternative routes to sidetrack them, and although all places have been filled for the Runamuck Challenge that is happening on Saturday 9th March, it is an ideal opportunity to go along and take a look at what is involved before signing up for the “Down N Durty in the Country” experience that will take place the 12th October 2013, or maybe for anyone who has friends or family here on Ireland Vacation when the next event takes place, why not look to sign them up and all get involved in one of Ireland’s most mucky but most fun activities!!
