The Mullagh Fair Day is not like other fairs; it is in fact a re-enactment of the old fair days from times gone by.
This fair day on September 8th 2013, will have plenty to keep the family entertained including street entertainment, music, games for children and adults, a farmers market, a craft market, falconry and reptile display as well as a dog show.
For those with an interest in cars and machinery – there will be plenty of vintage cars on display as well as various types of machinery. In addition a traditional farm yard in Ireland can be seen along with a display of the traditional skills that would have been used to keep the farm ticking over.
Witness a traditional pig roasting in addition to the buying and selling of cattle, horses, pigs, sheep and poultry as it would’ve happened in the old fashioned fair days in Ireland.
