Worlds Musical Superstars in Ireland this June and July

June and July are nearly upon us and it seems anyone who is anyone in the world of Music will be playing in Ireland.

Aside from the many music festivals happening up and down the country, of which a selection have attracted top local and international acts, there will also be a great number of superstars performing in Ireland as part of their European and World Tours.

In Dublin, at Dublin’s O2, which recently saw rock legends Guns N Roses perform to sell out crowds, international superstars Jay Z and Kanye West will play live on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th June as part of their Watch The Throne European Tour.

In Cork on 9th June, Irish Singer Imelda May will play live at the Marquee in Cork and just 1 week later on the 16th June, Irish rock and indie band The Corona’s will also perform live at Cork’s Marquee. Definitely the month for home grown talent to be performing, later in June in Dublin’s Croke Park, another of Ireland’s finest, our very own Westlife will perform on 22nd and 13rd June as part of their farewell tour. Sure to be the highlight of the tour as the 4 lads play at home, Dublin will be a buzz of entertainment and the place to be whether you are a local or visitor on vacation in Ireland.

A few days after this and still in Dublin’s Croke Park, the internationally successful Red Hot Chilli Peppers will play live on 26th June.

As July arrives, all eyes will be on Cork, as The Voice UK judge and British Superstar Singer Jessie J performs to sell out crowds at The Marquee in Cork on 1st and 3rd and June. And just one day later at the Marquee on 4th July and 5th July, X Factor Finalist and Xtra Factor presenter Olly Murs will play live!

The month of July then comes to a close in style in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium as the global megastar Madonna will play live to a sell out crowd on 24th July as part of her worldwide MDNA tour.
