Former Irish soccer player Roy Keane has returned to Ireland as an assistant manager alongside Martin O’ Neill who has been appointed Manager.
Keane has had a colourful career filled with controversy but even his harshest critics will agree that he was a fantastic player and possibly one of the best Ireland has ever seen.
Former Celtic manager O’ Neill, has had a very successful managerial career and it is hoped the two stars will combine their knowledge to help Ireland on their way to some international success. O’ Neill and Keane have a lot of work to do as the Irish team have not been performing well and have failed to qualify for European and Word Cups.
Best wishes to the new managerial team from all at discoveringireland.com!
