Cork’s Folk Festival to celebrate its 35th year in style

This October sees the 35th annual Cork Folk Festival take place in Ireland’s southern capital, Cork City. The festivals will see Cork welcome some of Ireland’s finest folk and traditional Irish musicians will be joined by top class folk artists from abroad between 2nd and 5th of October.

A host of activites to be highlighted in new Wild Atlantic Way TV Series

A brand new Irish Travel Series showcasing the now famous 2,500km Wild Atlantic Way route, has begun filming in Kerry this week.  The eight-part series named “Kenny Wild” is set to feature best-selling author Dave Kenny who will swap his comfortable Dublin based home to explore the charm of the Wild Atlantic Way.

The now famous Wild Atlantic Way 2,500 km route now has its own app thanks to Failte Ireland.  This new app which is now available in Apple App Store and Google Play Store claims to be the definitive guide to the world’s longest defined coastal route which stretches from Inishowen in County Donegal right down to the scenic town of Kinsale in County Cork.
